Wedding Guest Outfits for Every Budget

I don't know about you but as soon as I receive a wedding invite one of the first things I think about is my outfit. Seeing everyone dressed up is part of the magic of a wedding!
Here we have taken out the hard work of searching for the perfect outfit and put together outfit ideas for every budget:

Under £50

Dress // Shoes // Bag
When trying to put together a Wedding Guest outfit for £50 the key is simplicity, on a budget too much detail can make an outfit look cheap. The simplicity of this navy midi dress oozes classiness, it is hard to believe it is only £25! Navy is a very wearable colour for a wedding guest and a great alternative to black! We have paired it with rose gold accessories to add a some glitz to the look.

Under £100

Dress // Shoes // Bag // Fascinator
For our under £100 look the dress does the talking, how pretty is this dusty blue lace dress? The black lace detail reminds us of something from Self Portrait. With such a statement dress we have paired it with nude accessories to not distract from the detail of the dress. A simple black fascinator completes the look.

Under £200

Our £200 look oozes femininity. This lace and pleat pink dress couldn't be any more girly, we have paired it with frill rose gold shoes (to add to the girly-ness - because why not?) and a rose gold bag and fascinator, that are both so versatile and could be worn again and again.

Under £500

When it comes to shopping for a Wedding Guest outfit, Coast is one of the first retailers that springs to my mind! We love the the botanical print of this dress and have accessorised with pale pink shoes and bag from Dune to let the dress be the main focus of the outfit. The look is finished off with a "hatinator" to add that WOW factor!

Which is your favourite look?

Pre-Wedding Night Pampering

The night before the wedding is certainly a special one! By this stage all the final details for the big day will be set in place and all that is left is to get yourself relaxed and pampered for the big day ahead! It is a perfect excuse for a girly night in and to spoil yourself with your bridesmaids! Here are some of our top tips:

Evening Meal

Make sure you eat something! With all the pre-wedding nerves it can be easy to skip a meal. How about booking a nice local restaurant for a meal with your closest family or bridesmaids? Choose something quite light that won't bloat you and make sure you eat early so you are not going to bed on a full stomach. You should try to avoid alcohol the night before the wedding as this might interfere with your sleep and having a hangover on the wedding day is less than ideal!

Nails

If you have decided to give yourself a DIY mani-pedi then it is best to leave it to the night before to avoid any chips! The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel range are a great way to get the look of a gel manicure at a fraction of the price, they even have a Honeymoon Collection - we absolutely love the shade "Nude-ly Weds."

Hair

If you are having your hair styled on the wedding day, most hairdressers will ask that you wash your hair the day before. Freshly washed hair can be too soft and won't hold your hairstyle as well. A hair treatment such as the Kérastase Chronologiste Trio is a lovely treat to throughly nourish your hair and it smells incredible too!

Skin

On the night before the wedding you do not want to make any drastic changes to your skin care regime, the last thing you want is a breakout on the big day! We recommend using a hydrating mask such at The Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask from La Mer, they give a radiant, hydrating boost to your skin and come in a pack of 6 which make them perfect to apply with your bridesmaids!

Beauty Sleep

The most important thing about your pre-wedding prep is beauty sleep, obviously with such an important day ahead this is easier said than done! Try to relax and get an early night! There are a few products you can try to help relax you; spray the Votary Pillow Spray on your bedsheets and pillows just before bed, and rub the Sleep Balm from This Works to your pulse points to help you relax and improve your sleep.

The most important thing is that you RELAX and enjoy your last night of single life!
